Brazilian Wax Prep

Brazilian Wax

Preparation

Hair should be at least 1/4 inch long (about the length of a grain of rice) — usually 2–3 weeks of growth.

Gently exfoliate the area 24 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin cells and help prevent ingrown hairs.

Avoid tanning, hot baths, and intense workouts 24 hours before waxing.

Skip moisturizers, oils, and lotions on the day of your appointment.

If you're concerned about discomfort, you may take an over-the-counter pain reliever 30–45 minutes prior.

Wear loose-fitting clothing to your appointment for maximum comfort afterward.

Aftercare

Proper aftercare is essential for maintaining smooth skin and preventing irritation or ingrown hairs:

Avoid hot showers, baths, saunas, or sweating for at least 24–48 hours.

Refrain from tight clothing that may rub against the waxed area.

No sexual activity, tanning, swimming, or exfoliating for the first 24–48 hours.

After 48 hours, gently exfoliate 2–3 times per week to prevent ingrown hairs.

Keep the area clean and moisturized with a gentle, fragrance-free lotion or post-wax product.

For best results, use Naked Mango Ingrown Hair Serum to treat and prevent ingrown hairs, and follow with our Naked Mango Hydrating Oil to nourish and soothe the skin.
